Event Details

Looking for a relaxing weekend activity where you can create something beautiful with your own hands? The Kokedama Planting Workshop offers a unique opportunity to connect with nature while discovering the traditional Japanese art of Kokedama.

What is Kokedama?

Kokedama is a traditional Japanese planting technique in which a plant's roots and soil are wrapped in moss instead of being placed in a pot. The result is a beautiful green moss ball that is both simple and elegant.

Loved for its natural aesthetic, Kokedama makes a charming decoration for any home or workspace. Each piece is handcrafted, making every creation unique and personal.

What to Expect at the Kokedama Workshop

During this 1.5 to 2-hour workshop, you'll be guided step by step through the process of creating your own Kokedama. No prior gardening or crafting experience is required—beginners are more than welcome.

Create Your Own Kokedama

You'll learn how to choose the right plant, prepare the soil, shape the moss ball, wrap it with moss, and secure everything together to complete your own handmade Kokedama.

Learn How to Care for Your Plant

Beyond creating your Kokedama, you'll also receive practical tips on watering, maintenance, and plant care so you can keep it healthy after bringing it home.
