Lotus Flower Festival

Hanoi Lotus Festival 2026 is a distinctive cultural and tourism event organized by the Hanoi Department of Tourism and the People's Committee of Tay Ho District. The festival celebrates the beauty of the lotus flower—an enduring symbol of purity, resilience, and Vietnamese cultural identity. It also serves as a platform to promote tourism products, traditional craft villages, local cuisine, and innovative creations inspired by the lotus.

Taking place from June 26–28, 2026, around the West Lake area, the festival offers a variety of exciting activities, including a spectacular waterside performance combining music, lighting, and live storytelling; lotus tea tasting; lotus-inspired cuisine; lotus silk fashion shows; handicraft exhibitions; and unique cultural spaces showcasing the rich heritage of Hanoi.

Highlights of the Festival

• Opening Ceremony at 7:00 PM on June 26 and Closing Ceremony at 7:00 PM on June 28 at Ly Tu Trong Flower Garden.
• Enjoy lotus tea, lotus-based cuisine, lotus silk fashion collections, and traditional handicraft products.
• A painting competition themed “Moments of West Lake Lotus” featuring 500 children on June 27.
• The “Lotus Parade” on June 28, with 1,000 participants dressed in traditional ao dai, accompanied by various street art and cultural performances.
