At Myths Cafe, you'll have the opportunity to experience this cultural tradition through a hands-on Lion Head Painting Workshop. Guided by an artisan with more than 20 years of experience, you'll paint and decorate your own lion head, discover the stories behind Vietnamese Lion Dance artistry, and take home a unique handmade keepsake.

Learn from Artisan Giai Huân

The workshop is personally led by Artisan Giai Huân, who has dedicated more than 20 years to preserving and practicing the traditional art of Vietnamese Lion Dance.

Throughout the session, you'll be guided step by step—from choosing color combinations and painting traditional patterns to completing your own lion head. Along the way, you'll also gain insight into the cultural significance and symbolism behind this distinctive Vietnamese art form.

No previous painting or crafting experience is required. Even if it's your first time holding a paintbrush, you'll be able to complete your own creation with the artisan's guidance.
