Illusion (The Ghost Wife Part 3): What Is the Story About?

Illusion (The Ghost Wife Part 3) continues the story from the first two installments, taking audiences into the mysteries surrounding Thuy and Khoi’s two villas. Strange phenomena, piano music echoing through the night, and the return of someone believed to be dead make the story increasingly unpredictable.

After the events of Parts I and II, Thuy thought she could finally put the mistakes of her past behind her after receiving forgiveness from her husband. However, guilt and new misunderstandings continue to push the characters into a mysterious chain of events.

This time, the story centers on Khoi, a young man who is confined by his family and struggling with addiction. His life becomes increasingly strange as he is haunted by the image of a mysterious woman who appears and disappears, accompanied by the sound of a piano playing in the night.

The Mystery Behind the Two Villas

Following the mysterious woman, Khoi accidentally finds his way to Thuy’s villa. From there, secrets surrounding his identity and family background gradually begin to surface.

One of the biggest surprises is the return of Lan – baby Yen’s biological mother, who was once believed to be dead. Her unexpected appearance makes the mysteries even harder to explain and brings a series of twists to the story.

Beyond its supernatural elements, Illusion also explores family conflicts, guilt, misunderstandings, and secrets hidden behind the seemingly ordinary lives of the characters.

The play is written by Minh Hoang and directed by Le Nguyen Tuan Anh, with NSND Hong Van serving as the artistic advisor.
